Product Spotlight: Revlon Lip Butters

I have officially found my favorite lip product for the summer, and best part about this product is that its from the drugstore! The Revlon Lip Butters are absolutely fabulous, lightweight lipsticks that are not only moisturizing but provide you with excellent pigmentation.

Packaging

The packaging is super cute and practical! The look of the product is simple, yet noticeable enough to grab from your purse. It is good quality in the sense that it protects the product inside and the actual packaging has yet to break or bend.

Application/Texture

Because these products are almost the middle ground between a chapstick and a lipstick, they are super easy to apply, regardless of the color. No mirror is needed to apply these, which makes them perfect for on-the-go use. They are very lightweight and have a moisturizing, glossy feel on the lips.

Quality/Pigmentation

I think these products are of amazing quality. For the past few months, I have been grabbing these over my higher end lipsticks because they are so simple to use but make such a big difference. The pigmentation, while it is not the same as a full-blown lipstick, is perfect for any summer look. Because of this, the color is not going to last as long as a lipstick, however, with the simple application and moisturizing feel, I have no problem with reapplying them.

Colors + Swatches

From left to right, the swatches on my arm are as follows: Red Velvet, Creme Brûlée, Peach Parfait, Berry Smoothie, Sweet Tart, Sugar Plum. Additionally swatched on my lips are Peach Parfait and Sweet Tart. There are 20 shades total and a very good shade range in general – making it possible to find the perfect color for any skin tone!

Do yourself a favor and run to your drugstore ASAP to pick up one of these! Depending on the deals at your drugstore, they range anywhere between $5-8 each, but I promise it’s worth it! Enjoy!
